Without a grounding in science, nobody can operate to their full potential in a modern society that is domainted by science and technology. In addition, the education system must educate and train the next generation of scientists and engineers. For these reasons, a healthy society must have effective policies for ensuring a high-quality science education from the level of primary schools to PhD training.
